Long shadows

The partial eclipse today was a preview of THE BIG ONE coming next year when we'll be in the path of totality. But, like the best previews, it was magical! The light became weird, the shadows multiplied, the birds stopped making noise, and the world seemed to almost stop.

Like most magical things, it stirred a creative need to honor the moment so I added a new long skirt to my plans. I love the way they move with you and cast a feminine silhouette. The moon would approve.
